Retrospective of Works Exhibition Showcases 65 Artworks from Irish, British, and French Artists in Mallow

The Retrospective of Works exhibition will be held at the West End Art Studio in Mallow from July 23 to August 3, showcasing around 65 pieces by Irish, British, and French artists. Organized by Colman Dalton and his wife Marie, the exhibition features notable contributions from Dubliner Paul Kelly, who now lives in Buttevant and will display 25 works including his favored painting of the Cahirmee Horse Fair. The event also honors the late Clare artist James O’Halloran with 20 of his works on display, alongside pieces by artists such as Jack Vettriano, T.S. Lowry, and Maurice MacGonigal.

In addition to the art, Paul Kelly has donated a painting of Dún Aonghasa on Inis Mór, recently featured in the film “Banshees of Inisherin,” to be raffled off to raise funds for Focus Ireland and HART, a local dog rescue charity. The raffle will take place on July 23, with tickets priced at €3 each or €20 for eight. The exhibition is free to attend, offering a diverse and charitable cultural experience for visitors.
