Rescue Operation Saves Woman and Horses Trapped in Vehicle on Farley Road

First responders in Marshall County rescued a woman and her horses trapped in a vehicle on Farley Road in the Barton Community. The woman’s vehicle was stuck due to overnight storms causing damage in the area. The rescue was successful and the woman and horses were safely removed from the trailer.

Another water rescue was conducted on Whitten Road just outside of Holly Springs. Details about the motorist involved in this incident are currently unknown. Following the rescues, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office announced that Whitten Road is now blocked and closed to all traffic in the area of 600 Whitten Road through 1266 Whitten Road.
