Robert L. Peters, Jr. passed away at the age of 61 in Los Angeles, CA. He was a graduate of Manheim Twp. High School and pursued his passion for horseback riding, becoming a professional in the Hunter and Jumper classes. He was known for his success in horse shows internationally and domestically, as well as for his work as an equine trainer.
Later in life, Rob returned to school and became a Registered Nurse, specializing in caring for cancer and HIV/AIDS patients. He was deeply involved in his community, helping many individuals recover from addiction. In 2022, he was honored with The Paul Andrew Starke Warrior Award for his work with the Tweakers Project, which supports recovering addicts.
Rob is survived by his mother, sisters, brother, niece, nephews, and great-nieces and nephew. A memorial service will be held at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory in Lititz, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Van Ness Recovery House in Los Angeles.
