Lisa Kent Reinhardt Cerise (May 20, 1956 – August 17, 2025) was a lifelong animal lover and devoted rancher who grew up in Nebraska before settling in Carbondale, Colorado. Known affectionately as “Boots,” she had a deep passion for horses and ranch life, spending her days baling hay, moving cattle, and caring for animals. After working as a legal secretary and later for 17 years in a middle school kitchen, where she was beloved by students as “Aunt Lisa,” she married Bob Cerise in 1994 and lived on the Cerise family ranch until her passing.
Lisa is remembered for her infectious personality, love of family, and dedication to her community. She passed away after a long illness and is survived by her husband, siblings, and extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cerise Ranch in Carbondale on September 13, 2025.
