Regine Mispelkamp Secures Third Gold at European Para Dressage Championships with Pramwaldhof’s Bayala

Germany’s Regine Mispelkamp achieved a remarkable hat-trick of gold medals at the European Para dressage Championships, winning the grade V freestyle on her 10-year-old mare Pramwaldhof’s Bayala. After securing individual gold in the grand prix A and contributing to Germany’s historic team gold, Regine delivered a stunning freestyle performance set to Diana Ross’s “Chain Reaction,” showcasing the mare’s athleticism and focus. Despite some initial nerves, their routine impressed judges with movements like shoulder-ins, half-passes, and extended trot, culminating in a powerful final centre line.

The silver medals were claimed by the Netherlands’ Britney de Jong and her partner Caramba NOP, also making their championship debut, while Sweden’s Lena Malmstrom and Fabulous Fidelie took bronze. Both riders expressed pride and surprise at their successes, highlighting key elements of their performances such as half-passes and pirouettes. The competition was noted for its high level of skill and open contest, with all medalists delivering routines that captivated audiences and judges alike.
