Virginia’s Chris Talley and FE Marco Polo currently lead the CCI4*-L division after seven rides, impressing judges with their composed performance in a unique and lively atmosphere. Close contenders include Tamie Smith on Kynan and defending champion Jennie Brannigan on Kismet. Riders expressed enthusiasm for the challenging new cross-country track designed by Jay Hambly, which includes a notable new drop fence intended to mirror questions faced at top international events, emphasizing precision and bravery over speed.
The international divisions will tackle cross-country on Saturday, July 19, beginning with the CCI3*-S.
