The racing incident report details various occurrences during the race involving multiple horses. Notably, ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING was contacted by PARROT BLESSING shifting in at the start and later bumped with MEGA CAPTAIN. SUPER SIXTY showed a lack of response under pressure from 500 meters and is considered better suited to Happy Valley, though no veterinary issues were found post-race. CASA BUDDY was unbalanced after being bumped by INVICTUS, who jumped awkwardly and shifted out early. MEGA CAPTAIN became unbalanced when crowded and was unable to finish strongly, attributed to racing without cover. STAR PERFORMER bled from both nostrils post-race and must pass a barrier trial and veterinary exam before racing again.
Other incidents include RAPID PHANTOM and SEA DIAMOND being bumped on jumping, PRECISION MIND racing tight to SUPER SIXTY before laying out in the final 300 meters, and ENJOY GOLF being steadied near 800 meters due to crowding caused by shifting horses. Several horses, including GRACEFUL HEART and CONSPIRATOR, had no significant veterinary findings post-race. Jockey L Hewitson was advised to exercise more care following the interference involving GRACEFUL HEART and SUPER SIXTY. Two horses, ALMIGHTY LIGHTNING and ZOUPER FELLOW, were sent for post-race sampling.
