The Racing Incident Report details various issues encountered by horses during the race. Notably, IRON LEGION exhibited unacceptable barrier manners by rearing and struggling at the start, resulting in a slow beginning and a requirement to attend barrier practice and trial before racing again. FURY AND GOLD showed concerns with its action in the home straight and will require a veterinary examination before its next race. MEEPMEEP was found lame in its right front leg post-race and also must pass a veterinary exam prior to racing again. Several horses, including ROMANTIC FANTASY, SUPER HONG KONG, and COOL BLUE, were sent for post-race sampling.
Other incidents included awkward jumps and bumping among horses such as ON THE LASH, SMART BEAUTY, CHATEAU LE PECHE, GOLD TACK, and LEATHER MASTER, affecting their race positioning and performance. Jockeys and trainers provided insights on some horses’ preferred racing styles and race-day challenges, with no significant veterinary findings for most horses immediately after the race.
