Queen Camilla, a lifelong horse enthusiast, has sadly stopped horseback riding due to her age, though she still maintains racehorses and remains actively involved in the equestrian world as Joint Patron of the Jockey Club. She fondly recalls growing up with ponies and a family tradition of riding, sharing that she even watched the birth of one of her foals recently. Despite stepping back from riding, her passion for animals remains strong.
In addition to her equestrian interests, Camilla has taken on significant royal responsibilities, especially during King Charles III’s cancer treatment. While other senior royals like Prince William and Kate Middleton stepped back to manage her diagnosis, Camilla reportedly managed the royal family’s affairs single-handedly, demonstrating her dedication and leadership amid challenging times.
