Pushkar Fair 2025, scheduled from October 22 to November 7, will be held in three phases encompassing the animal fair, cultural programs, and religious activities, officially commencing with a flag hoisting on October 30. This year introduces new attractions such as camel and horse shows conducted by BSF personnel, featuring competitions and tattoo displays, alongside the Mr. and Miss Rajasthan contest. The fair emphasizes Rajasthani culture with traditional dance, music, and performances by local artists, including a Bollywood Night with renowned singers Roop Kumar Rathore and Sonali Rathore. Notably, there will be no VIP pass system, ensuring equal access for all visitors.
Authorities have implemented extensive safety and crowd management measures due to higher water levels at Pushkar’s ghats, including warning signs, deployment of Civil Defense and police personnel, CCTV surveillance, and a one-way traffic system. Tourist facilities are enhanced with special decorations, a development exhibition, and online booking for livestock owners. The Tourism Department is actively promoting the event via social media, inviting both domestic and international tourists to experience a blend of traditional festivities and modern conveniences at this vibrant cultural fair.
