Pocklington School’s Equestrian Team achieved remarkable success at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) National Championships held in Addington, Buckinghamshire. The Combined Training Team, consisting of Martha, Harriet, Hope, and Anna, secured first place overall, earning the title of NSEA National Champions through strong dressage tests and confident showjumping rounds. Additionally, individual riders like Oliver and Cecily delivered impressive performances in showjumping and dressage events, with the 80cm showjumping team finishing sixth out of 38 teams.
Coach Sally Dearing praised the riders for their hard work, teamwork, commitment, and resilience throughout the competition. The school celebrated the team’s skill and determination, highlighting their outstanding representation of Pocklington School on a national stage.
