The Plum Lake Event and Equestrian Center in Wisconsin hosted a Family Fun Fest to raise funds for the Plum Lake Library, attracting around 420 to 430 attendees and generating approximately $2,000. The event featured a variety of activities including indoor games, a food truck, a traveling petting zoo with rabbits, ducklings, and baby goats, horse rides, and a zipline, providing a multi-generational gathering space during a time when many cannot travel for spring break.
Owner Debra Stephenson expressed gratitude for the strong community turnout and highlighted the center’s offerings such as riding lessons and summer camps for youth and adults. Due to the event’s success, the center plans to hold the Family Fun Fest again next year around the same time.
