The 2026 National Western Stock Show Kick-Off Parade, led by Grand Marshal Pete Coors, will celebrate Denver’s rich agricultural heritage with a traditional procession of cattle, horses, and wagons through downtown. The parade begins at noon outside Denver’s Union Station and proceeds 12 blocks along 17th Street to Glenarm Place. Following the parade, attendees can enjoy the Stock Show Fair at McGregor Square, featuring therapy horses, western royalty, ice skating, and a food market.
The 120th annual National Western Stock Show runs from January 10 to 25 at the National Western Complex and Denver Coliseum, showcasing a blend of rodeo performances, livestock shows, horse events, and family entertainment. As one of the largest agricultural trade shows in Colorado, it attracts visitors nationwide and internationally, generating an estimated $171 million economic impact annually. Pete Coors, a longtime supporter and chairman of the campaign for the National Western Center redevelopment, expressed excitement about leading the parade and highlighting the ongoing cultural and economic importance of Colorado’s agricultural legacy.
