Cedar Crest Ice Cream and Wisconsin 4-H have announced the winners of the 2026 Cedar Crest Ice Cream Flavor Creation Contest. The grand prize winner is the Pesobic Pathfinders 4-H Club from Lincoln County with their flavor “Hold Your Horses,” an espresso ice cream featuring chocolate-covered toffee pieces and a caramel ribbon. This flavor will be produced and featured in Cedar Crest’s ice cream parlors across Wisconsin during July 2026. The finalists, who will receive ice cream parties, include four other 4-H clubs with unique flavor creations.

Cedar Crest Ice Cream, a family-owned company based in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, supports the contest to encourage teamwork and creativity among youth. The company produces over 80 ice cream flavors and distributes throughout the Midwest. Wisconsin 4-H, part of UW-Madison Extension, engages over 27,000 youth members in hands-on learning and life skill development. Past winning flavors have sometimes become permanent additions to Cedar Crest’s lineup, highlighting the contest’s impact on the local ice cream scene.
