Performer Dragged by Bolting Horse During Equestrian Show at Guangzhou Safari Park

During a tourist show at Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park near Hong Kong, a performer was dragged along the ground after a horse became spooked and bolted. The horse threw the rider off but her foot remained trapped in the stirrup, causing her to be pulled until colleagues in costume rushed in to help free her. Paramedics checked the woman at the scene, and she was reported shaken but unharmed.

The incident occurred at the Knight Theatre, which opened last month and features daily medieval-themed equestrian stunt performances. The safari park also hosts the Chimelong International Circus, known as the largest permanent circus building according to Guinness World Records. The cause of the horse’s fearful reaction remains unclear.
