The Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association, in partnership with Delaware Valley University, is hosting its annual Foal Cams livestream starting February 23, providing a 24-hour online view of three pregnant Standardbred mares expected to give birth in March. This free educational initiative offers the public a unique opportunity to observe the birthing process and learn about Pennsylvania’s harness racing industry, with students from Delaware Valley University assisting in monitoring the mares and tracking the foals’ development until their sale in November.
The 2026 Foal Cams will feature three mares—Thistle Dhu, Ocean Love Potion, and To The Good Life—each in their third year of participation and due to foal between March 10 and March 19. The program aims to increase public understanding of the breeding process and the growth of future harness racing competitors, with the livestream accessible at pennhorseracing.com/foalcams.
