Charlotte Pearce made a strong comeback after recovering from a broken hand, showcasing a promising partnership with Will Marq, a gelding previously representing Spain at the World Championships for Young dressage Horses. Their Grand Prix performance was marked by consistent, harmonious work, particularly excelling in the canter and left pirouette, earning solid scores in the mid to high sevens and eights. With more experience, they appear poised to reach scores above 75%.
France’s Pauline Basquin secured second place with Sertorius de Rima Z IFCE, scoring 71.065%, despite a costly error in the one-tempi changes. The pair, in their fifth international Grand Prix season, recently placed well in other major competitions. Brazilian João Victor Marcari Oliva finished third with Feel Good VO NRW, surpassing the 70% mark but not yet reaching their personal best, indicating steady progress in their competitive journey.
