Bred in Wales and initially campaigned by Geoff Billington and his wife Sarah, Orkney V was later taken on by Louie, who recognized his exceptional talent and secured new ownership with Susie and Stephen Shuttleworth. Louie praised Orkney V as an ideal modern showjumper, highlighting his carefulness, rhythmic canter, and impressive jumping ability, noting that they have already turned down significant offers for him.

Louie Cunningham’s victory at Kelsall Hill marked his second consecutive win in SEIB winter novice qualifiers, having previously secured a ticket to Hickstead with another horse, Nella.
