An Oklahoma nonprofit, Nexus Equine, has stepped in to care for 26 miniature horses whose previous owner needed assistance. The organization launched the Mini Horse Campaign to raise $25,000 for essential veterinary care, feeding, housing, and training, ensuring the horses receive proper attention before being made available for adoption.

Currently undergoing veterinary and farrier services, the miniature horses will be ready for adoption within two to three weeks. To celebrate their progress and connect the community with the animals, Nexus Equine will host a “Meet the Minis” event on November 8, where visitors can meet the miniature horses and other adoptable horses. Donations to support the campaign are being accepted online.
