An Oklahoma nonprofit, Nexus Equine, has stepped in to care for 26 miniature horses whose previous owner needed assistance. The organization launched the Mini Horse Campaign to raise $25,000 for essential veterinary care, dental and farrier services, vaccinations, feed, housing, and training. The horses are currently receiving medical attention and will be prepared for adoption within the next few weeks.

To engage the community and promote adoptions, Nexus Equine will host a “Meet the Minis” event on November 8, allowing visitors to meet the miniature horses and other adoptable animals. Donations to support the campaign can be made online to help ensure the minis receive the care they need.
