The Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership’s Equine Initiative is hosting the All-Breed Horse Capital of the World Parade on Saturday, October 4, to celebrate the region’s thriving equine industry. This family-friendly event will showcase over 70 horse breeds found in the community, highlighting Ocala/Marion County’s status as a major hub for the $4.3 billion horse industry. The parade aims to introduce both horse enthusiasts and newcomers to the diversity of breeds through an engaging and educational experience.
Starting at 10 a.m., the parade will begin at the field in front of the First Presbyterian Church and proceed through downtown Ocala, with the Ocala Police Department managing safety and traffic flow. This unique event not only honors the local equine culture but also serves as a vibrant kickoff to the peak horse season in the area.
