The New York Racing Association (NYRA) canceled live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack on Sunday due to a winter storm affecting the New York City area. The storm, bringing three to five inches of snow, low wind chills, and high winds, also led to the cancellation of training at Belmont Park that morning.
Sunday’s eight-race card was the last before an 11-day holiday break, with live racing set to resume on Friday, December 26, at Aqueduct, featuring the $125,000 Alex M. Robb Stakes.
