Nominations have opened for the 10th Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards (ITIEA), launched at Kildangan Stud. Sponsored by Godolphin and supported by key industry bodies including the Irish stable Staff Association, Horse Racing Ireland, and the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, the awards celebrate the skills and dedication of individuals in the thoroughbred breeding and racing sector. With €60,000 in prize money across 10 categories, nominations are open online until February 13 and anyone can nominate a colleague or friend.

The awards feature categories such as Newcomer, Administration, Ancillary Services, and five ITIEAs, with winners eligible for the Irish Racing Excellence Award announced at the ceremony on June 2 at the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge. Godolphin Ireland CEO Jimmy Hyland expressed pride in sponsoring the awards for a decade, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the talent within Ireland’s thoroughbred industry.
