No. 2 Georgia equestrian secured a 12-7 victory over No. 3 Texas A&M at the University of Georgia Equestrian Complex. The meet began with the fences competition, where Georgia took a narrow 3-2 lead, highlighted by junior Tessa Downey’s third fences MOP honor of the season. Concurrently, Georgia dominated the horsemanship portion, winning 4-1 with senior Abbey Zawisza earning horsemanship MOP. This strong start gave Georgia a 7-3 lead going into the second half.

In the latter half, Georgia continued their success in flat riding and reining. Senior Tessa Brown earned flat MOP with a high score of 89, while Georgia won reining 3-2, with points from Kennedy Buchanan, Shelby Lynch, and Cadence Egar. Texas A&M’s Mattie Gustin took reining MOP, but Georgia’s overall performance prevented the Aggies from winning any individual competition, sealing the 12-7 team victory.
