Nick and Cindy Parrish Inducted into 2025 Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame for 27 Years of Service

Nick and Cindy Parrish of Audrain County were inducted into the 2025 Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame in a ceremony held on August 10 at State Fair Community College. With 27 years of volunteer service, the Parrishes have significantly contributed to Missouri 4-H, particularly through their involvement in equine programs and various youth projects. Cindy led the Country Bumpkins 4-H Club and multiple projects, while Nick mentored youth in beef, woodworking, welding, and horses. Both have also played vital roles on the Audrain County Fair Board and 4-H Council, helping to support and expand local 4-H initiatives.

The Missouri 4-H Hall of Fame honors individuals whose dedication has made a lasting impact on youth and communities statewide. The ceremony, part of the Missouri State Fair’s 4-H Day, also highlighted the ongoing partnership between Missouri 4-H and sponsors like FCS Financial and the Missouri State Fair. This year’s event recognized the Parrishes alongside other honorees, joining a legacy of over 690 inductees representing 33 counties and more than 1,000 years of combined service to the 4-H program.
