New England Rodeo Expands Seating and Entertainment Due to Growing Crowds in Rochester

Since establishing itself at the Rochester Fair Grounds in June, the New England rodeo has attracted large crowds, prompting the addition of 300 new bleacher seats to accommodate attendees who previously had to stand on busy nights. The bi-weekly rodeo regularly draws over 1,000 spectators, with special events seeing upwards of 2,000, and has received strong community support from local residents and emergency services.

To enhance the experience, the rodeo introduced two new food trucks, including a local Rochester business, and added specialty acts such as country singer Timothy “The Real Boston Cowboy” James and equestrian vaulters performing gymnastics routines on horseback. Regular competitions like bull riding and barrel racing continue each Saturday, with the next event scheduled for August 23 at 65 Pine Street. Admission is $25, free for children under five, with more details available on their website.
