Nature on Horseback Highlights Sustainable Equestrian Tourism at 127th Verona Horse Fair

Nature on Horseback concluded its participation in the 127th Verona Horse Fair on a highly positive note, reaffirming its role as a national leader in sustainable equestrian tourism and rural area promotion. Over the four-day event, the association engaged in multiple key activities, including educational sessions with agricultural schools, participation in conferences and round tables with prominent organizations like Coldiretti and Federparchi, and a significant speech by president Mauro Ferrari advocating for standardized regulations to enhance greenways and horse trails from a tourism perspective.

The association also highlighted its two-year collaboration with Federparchi on hiking trails and rural economies linked to horses during an official event at the Park of the Euganean Hills. Media coverage included interviews on various platforms, emphasizing horse trails, Italian breeds, and trekking. Looking ahead, Nature on Horseback announced a 2026 trekking calendar focused on native Italian horse breeds and their regions, emphasizing sustainability, cultural storytelling, and the integration of landscape, history, craftsmanship, and local food and wine in outdoor tourism.
