The National Horse Show, after 14 years at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, is set to move to the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina, pending approval from the U.S. Equestrian Federation. The 2026 show is scheduled for October 21-25 and October 27-November 1. Along with the venue change, the show will have a new manager, JP Godard, succeeding Stephanie Lightner, who will conclude her role after the 2025 event.
Historically, the National Horse Show has relocated multiple times despite being primarily associated with Madison Square Garden in New York for much of its 143-year history. It has previously been held at Meadowlands arena in New Jersey, Wellington, Florida, and the Syracuse Invitational in New York before settling in Kentucky in 2011.
