Nadja Peter Steiner Wins CSI5* 150cm at HH The Amir’s Sword Showjumping Championship in Doha

Nadja Peter Steiner of Switzerland claimed victory in the CSI5 150cm class at the HH The Amir’s Sword Showjumping Championship held at Al Shaqab, delivering a flawless round on Nice Van’T Zorgvliet to finish clear in 66.42 seconds. American Kristen Vanderveen and Brazil’s Marlon Modolo Zanotelli completed the podium, with Zanotelli also winning the CSI5 Two Phases 140cm class earlier in the day. The event featured strong international competition across multiple disciplines, including dressage, where Morocco’s Youssef Essamlali and Qatar’s Hamad Nasser Al Marri won in their respective categories.

The championship is part of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026 and continues with a diverse program including World Cup qualifiers and Grand Prix qualifiers. British rider Scott Brash leads the overall Grand Prix standings, while Qatari riders dominate the one-star category. The event is organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation, Qatar Olympic Committee, and Al Shaqab, showcasing top-level equestrian sport in the region.
