The Murray Bridge Racing Club is hosting its inaugural Life Members Race Day this Saturday to honor individuals who have significantly contributed to the club over the past century. The event features the Chairman’s Choice Handicap with a special prize, and eight of the ten races will be sponsored by life members or their families, celebrating their impact on the local racing industry. Alongside the race day, the weekend offers diverse activities including drag racing at the Dragway at the Bend, kids’ workshops at Bunnings, and community events like the Great School Uniform Exchange to support families in need.

Throughout the week, Murray Bridge and surrounding areas present a variety of family-friendly and community-focused events such as LEGO free play at the library, cricket clinics, youth celebrations, craft groups, and educational workshops. These activities cater to all ages and interests, from creative arts and sports to social support groups and career guidance, ensuring a vibrant and engaging school holiday period with plenty of options to get involved and enjoy the summer weather.
