A Saturday meetup of about 50 juveniles riding e-bikes and dirt bikes along Gatlin Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, Florida, led to a police response resulting in multiple juvenile arrests, one adult arrest, citations, and vehicle tows. The event, called the “TRAD” Comeback Ride, involved illegal operation of electric motorcycles and dirt bikes on public roads, prompting intervention by parks officers and road patrol units.
Among those arrested was 51-year-old Anwar Jouda, charged under the HALO law for approaching a first responder with specified intent after a warning. Several riders received citations for unregistered vehicles and lack of proper endorsements, with all unregistered bikes towed and parents notified. Authorities emphasized the importance of adhering to licensing, registration, and traffic laws for all riders.
