The MSPCA-Angell is hosting a rare fee-waived horse adoption event this weekend at its Nevins Farm facility in Methuen, taking place on Saturday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Typically, adoption fees for horses range from $300 to $1,500, but no fees or appointments are required for this special event. Prospective adopters are encouraged to bring photos of the horse’s intended living space.

The event aims to find homes for six horses that were rescued through law enforcement activities. According to Erika Tonnon, placement coordinator at Nevins Farm, these horses have been rehabilitated and are ready to start new lives with caring owners.
