In Cappadocia, mornings start early, well before sunrise, especially for locals like Sarp Kutsi Poyraz, a 32-year-old horse rider known as the “Rider of the Slopes.” At his farm in Goreme, he begins each day by feeding, watering, and grooming his horses.
These preparations are essential for his daily rides, which take him and his horses to remote parts of the region that cannot be reached by vehicles, allowing for unique exploration of Cappadocia’s valleys and rock formations.
