Moggre Wins Lake Placid Grand Prix with Edgard De Prefontaine in Thrilling Jump-Off

Moggre, riding Evergate Stables’ Edgard De Prefontaine, won the jump-off in a competitive field of 38 riders at a course designed by Michel Vaillancourt. After a clean first round, Moggre delivered the second clean jump-off ride in 40.46 seconds, securing the victory. Emily Dehoff took the early lead with a clean 41.07 seconds on Manou De Muze, while Mark Bluman posted the fastest time but incurred faults, finishing third.

This win marked Moggre’s first time competing Edgard De Prefontaine at this height and only his fourth show with the horse. He praised the horse’s performance and expressed excitement about the new venue’s beautiful grounds and quality rings, looking forward to future competitions there.
