Country music star and animal advocate Miranda Lambert announced that Horse Haven of Tennessee will receive the 2025 Idyllwind Award from her MuttNation Foundation. The award honors outstanding U.S. equine rescues or sanctuaries that rehabilitate and rehome neglected, abused, or abandoned horses while educating the public about their challenges. Lambert praised Horse Haven for its statewide emergency rescue availability and dedication to horse rehabilitation.
Horse Haven’s Executive Director Ashley Ford expressed gratitude for the award’s support, which enhances their ability to provide care and second chances to horses in need. The Idyllwind Award was launched by Lambert at the 2024 Boot Barn x Wonderwest Fashion Show, with fundraising efforts supporting equine rescues. Boot Barn’s VP of Marketing highlighted the shared commitment to preserving Western traditions and supporting equine welfare alongside Lambert’s advocacy.
