Country music star and animal advocate Miranda Lambert, through her MuttNation Foundation, has awarded the 2025 Idyllwind Award to Horse Haven of Tennessee with a $25,000 donation. The award, named after Lambert’s first horse, honors U.S. equine rescues that rehabilitate and rehome neglected or abused horses while educating the public about their plight. Horse Haven of Tennessee was recognized for its statewide emergency rescue services and dedication to horse rehabilitation.
Lambert introduced the Idyllwind Award in 2024, supported by Boot Barn, the exclusive retailer of her lifestyle brand Idyllwind, which ran a donation campaign benefiting horse rescues. A lifelong animal lover and horse enthusiast, Lambert emphasizes the deep bond between humans and horses and continues to champion equine welfare through her foundation’s efforts to provide care and second chances for rescued horses.
