On September 26–27, 2025, Silver Bay hosted the annual ATV MN Ride & Rally, drawing riders and outdoor enthusiasts statewide to explore Northeastern Minnesota’s scenic trails, including the North Shore and Sawtooth Mountains. The event offered lawmakers, including Rep. Natalie Zeleznikar and colleagues, a firsthand experience of the region’s trail systems, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and expanding these recreational resources.

The ATV industry significantly boosts local economies, contributing an estimated $34 million annually in St. Louis, Lake, and Koochiching counties alone, benefiting various small businesses and hospitality sectors. The Ride & Rally also underscored bipartisan support for Minnesota’s diverse trail systems, which serve a wide range of outdoor activities and foster strong community connections to the land. Rep. Zeleznikar expressed gratitude to Silver Bay for hosting an event that highlights Northern Minnesota’s outdoor adventure and small-town hospitality.
