Mia De Marco, a rising talent in the horseracing industry, was honoured with the British Racing School Twelve Club Award at Newbury Racecourse during the Coral Long Distance Hurdle Day. Having transitioned from a successful show jumping background, she excelled in her formal training at the British Racing School, graduating as Head Girl. This led to her placement at Park House Stables under renowned trainer Andrew Balding, where she continues her foundation training.
The Twelve Club Award, sponsored by a group of racing enthusiasts supporting the British Racing School, is presented annually to one outstanding female and one male student based on their talent, progress, and potential in the sport.
