Thomas “Tom” Wyffels, 80, of Marshall, Minnesota, passed away on August 13, 2025. Born on November 14, 1944, Tom was the third of eleven children and a lifelong resident of Marshall. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he met his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Bissett, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Tom was passionate about animals, particularly dogs and quarter horses, and was actively involved in breeding quarter horses as a member of both the American and Minnesota Quarter Horse Associations.

A devoted husband and family man, Tom was known for his outspoken nature balanced by a soft heart and strong loyalty to his loved ones. A memorial service will be held on August 23, 2025, at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall, with interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Minnesota Quarter Horse Association in Tom’s memory.
