At the Arqana November Online Sale, a breeding right to the stallion Mehmas was the top lot, selling to Hugo Merry Bloodstock for €180,000. Mehmas, standing at Tally-Ho Stud, has sired nine individual Group winners and 48 stakes winners from his first five crops, with notable progeny including Group 1 winners Believing and Wise Approach expected to perform well in 2025. Another significant sale was a share in Ace Impact, the unbeaten Prix du Jockey Club and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner, which went to Horse France for €152,000; Ace Impact’s first foals have fetched prices up to €220,000.
National Hunt stallions also attracted strong interest, with breeding rights to Goliath du Berlais selling for €84,000 to Christophe Bridault of Espace Trot, and a share in Nirvana du Berlais, sire of Grade 1-winning hurdler Lulamba, purchased by Highflyer Bloodstock for €80,000. Overall, 18 of the 24 lots offered were sold, generating a total of €871,500 in sales.
