The 2025 Red Desert Roundup rodeo will be held on July 25 and 26 at the Sweetwater Events Complex, with the event’s evening performances presented by the rodeo royalty. The royalty includes Princess Taylor Hernandez-Thoman, a junior at Green River High School and honors student active in 4-H, FFA, and the National High School rodeo Association, who also holds the Wyoming High School rodeo Queen title and will compete nationally. First Attendant Ashten Folks, an eighth-grader from Rock Springs, participates in various local clubs and sports, enjoying activities like riding her young horse and hunting.
Junior Princess Kennedy Kleinlein, a seventh-grader at Rock Springs Junior High, is involved in multiple equestrian and community groups and has earned awards in showing horses, swine, and goats. Her interests also include barrel racing, reading, playing trombone, and rock climbing. Together, these young women represent the spirit and tradition of the Red Desert Roundup rodeo.
