Brew, a 17-year-old, 13.3hh grade gelding, is this week’s featured adoptable horse from the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen, Mass. Due to his conformation, Brew is only adoptable as a companion and should not be ridden. Despite his physical limitations, Brew is described as an easygoing and sweet horse who gets along well with both mares and geldings.
Brew is up to date on all vet and farrier care, and is a low-maintenance horse who thrives on a diet of balancer and first-cut hay. He is responsive and sweet, but may need a little reminder about his strength when leading. Brew is looking for a loving home where he can be a big hunk of a gelding to love on, or provide companionship to another horse in need.
The ASPCA Right Horse program, in partnership with Horse Illustrated, aims to increase horse adoption in the United States. Brew is one of many adoptable horses featured on their online adoption platform.
