Meagan Bruneski has combined her passions for horses, fitness, and paddling to empower others in the Cariboo region through her business, MeadowView Reins. Inspired by the positive impact equine therapy had on her young son Marc, who experienced early trauma, Meagan pursued certification as an equine assisted learning (EAL) coach. She offers a variety of programs including summer camps, one-on-one sessions, group activities, and corporate workshops that use horses to teach emotional regulation, leadership, and personal growth. Their offerings also include birthday parties, date nights, and ladies nights, all set in a scenic location near Big Lake.
Meagan’s background as a former competitive athlete—having represented Canada in track and field and later excelling in dragon boating—has influenced her holistic approach to wellness and movement. After an injury shifted her career path, she became a personal trainer and earned a degree in movement science. Now living in Big Lake with her husband Joel and blended family, Meagan also partners with the City of Williams Lake to provide accessible EAL programs locally, helping children and adults alike build confidence and emotional skills through interaction with horses.
