Manvendra Singh Makes History at Cornbury House Horse Trials with Grand Marnier Victory

Manvendra Singh made history as the first Indian event rider in many years to win an FEI international class on British soil, securing victory in the Uvex-sponsored CCI2-S section J at Cornbury House Horse Trials aboard Grand Marnier. Singh, who has been riding the horse for four months under the guidance of coach Declan Cullen, completed the event on a dressage score of 31.7. Other notable winners included Josh Levett in section H on Gortin House, Caroline Harris in section I on Isington Girl Power, and New Zealand’s Jesse Campbell who won the Pragnell CCI3-S section F riding Speedwell.

The event also featured the ARC Racehorse to Eventer Challenge, led by Clarke Johnstone on Sparky Lad after dressage and cross-country phases, with a £50,000 prize pot at stake. Cornbury House Horse Trials, held in the scenic Cornbury Park, combines top-level equestrian competition with local sustainable food, premium hospitality, and family activities. The event’s cross-country action is broadcast live on Horse & Country TV’s streaming platform H&C+, with further details and ticket information available on the official Cornbury House Horse Trials website.
