Lottie Fry and Glamourdale Win World Cup Qualifier in Amsterdam with 89.31%

Lottie Fry and Glamourdale secured a commanding victory at the World Cup qualifier in Amsterdam, achieving an impressive 89.31% in their freestyle performance. Their flying-themed routine was flawless, earning high marks across all elements and marking Lottie’s best freestyle score since her World Cup win in ’s-Hertogenbosch last year. Olympic silver medallist Isabell Werth finished second with Wendy de Fontaine, scoring 87.58%, while Becky Moody and Jagerbomb took third with 85.31%. Despite Lottie’s win, Isabell earned the full 20 World Cup points as Lottie is already qualified as the defending champion.

The competition highlighted a strong return to form for Glamourdale, with consistent scores above 80% for the first time since 2022, reflecting a balance between power and relaxation. Isabell chose to ride Wendy de Fontaine over DSP Quantaz, aiming to fine-tune their performance after recent shows. Meanwhile, Charlotte Dujardin and her young mare Alive And Kicking showed promise despite some mistakes, finishing sixth in the freestyle. The closely contested event underscored the high level of competition and the riders’ ongoing development ahead of the World Cup final.
