A 14-year-old tabby cat named George was brought to the Scottish SPCA’s Glasgow rescue centre, where a routine microchip check revealed he had been reported missing since 2016. The charity was able to contact George’s owners using the up-to-date information on the chip.
Believing George had passed away, the family was surprised to be reunited with him. George returned home to a household that now included a new feline companion and a human “brother.”
