A loose white horse was seen walking across Highway 11 near Baudette, Minnesota, on March 3, prompting a response from law enforcement. The Minnesota State Patrol shared video footage of the incident, which showed a Department of Natural Resources officer successfully roping the horse and returning it to its owner.
The Minnesota State Patrol advised drivers to slow down, exercise caution, and give animals plenty of space if spotted on roadways, urging them to call 911 when safe to report such situations. They also thanked the DNR for their teamwork in ensuring the safety of both drivers and animals.
