Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show Delivers Spectacular Debut in the City

The Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show (LHKIHS) concluded its successful three-day showjumping competition, featuring over 50 horses flown into the city for its first 5-star international horse show. Equestrian athletes delivered captivating performances, with Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) Equestrian Team member Patrick Lam and his horse Dakota placing third in the Longines Stakes and fifth in the Welcome Stakes.

The Longines Grand Prix was won by Denmark rider Zascha Nygaard Lill and his horse Com’on Stanley, while HKJC equestrian team riders Jacqueline Siu and Annie Ho shared their winning experience at the Hangzhou Asian Games at the HKJC Live zone. The Lifestyle Shopping Village featured over 50 brands related to fashion, equestrian, food, and beauty, with renowned designers showcasing their collections at the Fashion Runway and 1-Michelin Star chef Angelo Agliano demonstrating his signature dish at the Chef’s Theatre.

Event organizer Richard Ireland looks forward to an even grander show next year, aiming to gather enthusiasts from across the region and bring the best in equestrian sport to the 2026 Longines Horse Show scheduled to take place at the Asia World Expo from January 30 to February 1 next year.
