In San Juan County, Utah, a semi-truck carrying 31 horses rolled over on Lisbon Valley Road, resulting in a significant rescue operation. Local ranchers, alongside the San Juan County Sheriff’s livestock team, worked together to round up and transport the horses to the fairgrounds for further care. Unfortunately, four horses died in the crash, but the majority were saved thanks to the community’s swift response.
The Sheriff’s office highlighted the importance of local residents’ assistance in managing the large-scale rescue, noting that the operation would not have been possible without their help. The semi-truck driver was unharmed in the incident.
