North Texas Giving Day, concluding on September 18, invites residents of Princeton, Farmersville, and nearby areas to support a wide range of local nonprofits through online donations. Participating organizations include Habitat for Humanity of Collin County, Amazing Grace Food Pantry, GoldStar Horse and Rescue Sanctuary, Coventry Reserve, Farmersville Outreach Alliance, Hillcrest Animal Rescue, Abby Road Rescue Sanctuary, In-Sync Exotics, and Hope’s Gate. These groups focus on causes such as housing, food security, animal rescue, special needs programs, and education for vulnerable populations, with fundraising goals ranging from $2,000 to $250,000.
GoldStar Horse and Rescue Sanctuary, for example, aims to raise $5,000 to care for abused and neglected horses amid rising feed costs due to drought. Similarly, other nonprofits seek funds to sustain and expand their vital services, including providing food, veterinary care, housing, and educational opportunities. Donors are encouraged to contribute early or on the final day at northtexasgivingday.org to help these local causes continue their impactful work.
